    Call for Abstracts

    Interested presenters for the Canadian Biogas Association’s Value of Biogas West held in Vancouver on January 15th and 16th and Value of Biogas East held in Ontario in late March are invited to submit presentation abstracts to be considered for either or both of the Value of Biogas conferences.

    To submit an abstract, please have the following information available:

    • Presenter name
    • Presenter organization name
    • Presenter email address
    • Presenter phone number
    • Title of presentation
    • Presentation topic
    • Abstract (150 words max)

    Participation Requirements

    Please submit your abstract no later than Friday September 14th, 2018 by completing the Abstract Submission Form.

    Please note that if your abstract is selected, your organization’s presenter must register for the conference using a speaker code which will be provided once your abstract acceptance has been confirmed. Individuals are responsible for their own hotel accommodations and travel expenses.

    More about the 2019 Value of Biogas West Conference:

    The 2019 Value of Biogas West conference will be held in Vancouver, BC on January 15th and 16th. Day 1 will begin with a half-day operator’s forum. Hear first-hand what it is like to operate a biogas plant, important issues to consider when planning your own biogas plant, and key lessons learned from those with years of hands-on, day-to-day experience. In the afternoon attendees will have the opportunity to attend a biogas plant site visit (location TBD). Day 1 concludes with a networking reception. 

    Day 2 will consist of a full agenda, including two concurrent sessions on biogas/RNG for participants to choose from. Hear from a variety of biogas/RNG presenters on several topics, including challenges and opportunities for biogas/RNG production, innovations and developments, case studies, research and development, digestate management and much more. Also take the opportunity to speak with our biogas/RNG exhibitors.

    The conference is anticipated to attract more than 200 attendees comprised of biogas/RNG developers involved in agricultural and municipal sectors including landfill, waste management and wastewater, product and service technology companies, government policy makers, utilities, investors, academics, and more!
