2024 Value of Biogas East Conference Biogas & RNG Tour

The CBA is offering a facility tour to complement the 2024 Value of Biogas East Conference. Please purchase your tickets here to attend the tours. Note that space is limited.

Please note that steel toe boots are required for the tour.  To attend the tour, you must have your own pair of steel toe boots.

The City of Toronto's Ashbridges Bay Wastewater Treatment Plant is the City's main sewage treatment facility serving a population of approx.1.4 million to 1.5 Million and one of the largest treatment plants in Canada.  The facility began operating in 1917 and currently has a rated capacity of 818,000 m3 per day. The tour will feature the plant’s 20 primary anaerobic digesters, biogas utilization equipment, and pelletizer facility.

Buses for the Tour will leave the Westin Harbour Castle (1 Harbour Square, Toronto ON) at 1:00 pm, returning at 4:00 pm. Spaces on the tour will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration for the Tour is $80 + HST. Registration does not include lunch, but will include bus transportation to and from the facilities and light refreshments.
