The study will answer key questions like: How many GHG and methane reductions can biogas and RNG deliver on the way to 2030 and 2050? How many jobs and economic gains will it generate? And which government policies can best unleash this potential? For the first time, Canadians will be able to zero in on the potential climate benefits of different biogas and RNG resources, by province and by end-use, under a variety of policy conditions. The result will be a roadmap for deploying Canada’s biogas and RNG resources in the most efficient way to reach our climate goals and grow the economy.
