With new and emerging policy driving opportunities around organics diversion, carbon markets, and renewable fuel, the Canadian Biogas Association's Empowering Municipal RNG Market Participation initiative prepares municipalities and enhances their readiness to participate in a meaningful way in the new energy landscape of the circular, low-carbon economy.

This initiative delivers in-person seminars and educational materials to address the influences of government policy choices on renewable natural gas (RNG) project development and increase municipal participation in RNG projects through policy and energy market education and capacity building.

Join us for the third free seminar Developing a Voluntary RNG Market in Ontario on May 10th, 2019 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm in Toronto at the Ontario Investment and Trade Centre, 250 Yonge Street, 35th Floor, Main Theatre.

The Made-in-Ontario Environment Plan released November, 2018 included an initiative to require natural gas utilities to implement a voluntary renewable natural gas (RNG) option for customers.  Learn about common elements of voluntary RNG programs, examples from other jurisdictions, and what is being proposed in Ontario.
